Thank You Selah School Board!

January is School Board Recognition Month!

Although we always appreciate their service, School Board Recognition Month is a special time to say “Thank You” to Selah's board members and celebrate the crucial role they play in ensuring the vitality of our school system.

Selah’s five-person governing team is part of Washington’s 1,477 school board members, plus those who serve on the nine educational service district boards. In Selah, the School Board consists of: Dan Peters, President; Joe Catron, Vice President; Derek Iverson, Legislative Representative; Sarah Michael, Board Member; and Larry Patching, Board Member.

“I sincerely thank our Selah School Board members for their dedication and leadership,” said Superintendent Kevin McKay. “Their commitment, collaborative work, and student-centered decision-making help ensure our district continues to serve students, families, staff, and the Selah community well.”

Thank you, Selah School Board members! You are appreciated!
