We have some amazing students (and staff) don't we!?

Check out the work our CTE Career and Technical Service Organization FCCLA did in DALLAS! We are moving on to NATIONALS! Well done to our club advisors Michelle McCartney and Shari Brink and to our students for their hard work!

On November 14-16, 2019 in Dallas, Texas the Regional FCCLA/LifeSmarts Knowledge Bowl competition was held. The nations’ top 40 teams gathered there to compete for a chance to move on to national competition. This competition challenges students knowledge in several content areas:

1. Personal Finance
2. Consumer Rights & Responsibilities
3. Family, Career & Community Studies
4. Technology
5. Fashion & Housing Design
6. Health & Safety
7. Food Sciences & Nutrition
8. Early Childhood & Human Development
9. Environment
10. Hospitality, Tourism & Recreation

The Selah High School team consists of five very talented ladies, Tessa Fresco, Anna Tamblyn, Grace Erickson, Alexsandra Vargas and Olivia Gargaro. These ladies were fierce competitors and scored highest in the competition to qualify to compete in July in Washington D.C. The top 24 teams will be there all vying to be the top team in the nation.
