P-EBT Extended Through Summer 2023

Get P-EBT Information Sent Right to Your Phone

June 5, 2023

As a nutritional service for families, this summer households will receive a letter in the mail from the State and one Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) card per student enrolled in the Selah School District for the 2022-2023 school year.  This includes this year’s seniors.  These cards are federally funded and worth $120.00.  All Selah School District families will receive a card(s) regardless of income, based on the Selah School District being part of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which allows us to offer free breakfast and lunch to all enrolled students.

If your family has received a P-EBT card in the past, existing P-EBT cards will be re-loaded with funds, and a new card will not be issued.  If you do not have your P-EBT cards anymore, you can call the P-EBT Contact Center at 1-833-518-0282 for further instructions on how your card will be reissued.  The school district does not have information on how your card will be reissued, so please direct all questions to the contact center.  For families who have never received a P-EBT card, they will receive them in the mail.  Also, included with the letter sent to households will be information for families who wish to decline P-EBT benefits.  However, the funds cannot be gifted, donated or transferred among households.

Please note, if you have changed addresses this school year, make sure your current address is updated with your students’ school building.

The Selah School District does not have information about when funds will be added to the P-EBT cards and recommends signing up for text message alerts to receive P-EBT updates from the state. Sign up here: https://www.textpebt.dshs.wa.gov/
