Selah Students are Changing the World

Don't ever doubt that a small group of committed students can change the world, after all―Selah Middle School and Selah High School students already have. Selah students are doing their part to make a difference locally and world-wide. By participating in the WE Schools Program, Selah's middle school and high school students are part of the educational movement which believes some of the most powerful learning experiences happen by making a meaningful difference in the world. The WE Schools Program challenges young people to identify local and global issues that spark their passion and empowers them to take action.

At Selah Middle School, students under the guidance of teacher, Jackie Quincy, established the WE Act Club. WE Act is a service group integrating
their leadership skills with the call to take action. Beginning the year with over 100 members, 55 students consistently participated during various campaigns, accumulating 963 service hours to local and world communities.
