With that, Selah Intermediate School has looked within its building personnel to select Sarah Nelson as its Assistant Principal/Dean of Students. Nelson, who is a four-year veteran of the District, recently served as the school’s literacy coach.
This past spring and summer has seen new administrative selections as well as movement among administrators in the District. As a new school year begins, here is a recap of the administrative announcements previously reported:

In addition to Nelson being named as a new administrator at Selah Intermediate, the building also welcomes Hunter Sissom as its Principal. Sissom, who returns to his Yakima Valley roots, most recently served as an administrator in the Bellevue School District the past three years.
Additionally, Selah High School welcomes Jeff Cochran as its Assistant Principal/Director of Future Learning. Cochran, who taught English at the campus from 2007-2012, most recently served as a Director of Innovative and Alternative Education in the Ellensburg School District.

As the fall progresses, the District will look to fill the Robert Lince Kindergarten principal position.
