There is no denying that the month of February was definitely white.
With that, the Selah School District canceled two days of classes due to inclement weather. The first closure day was made-up on February 15 and previously scheduled into the student calendar. That leaves one school day that still must be fulfilled.
Now, the last day of school in Selah for the 2018-2019 school year is Monday, June 10. This will be a half-day, following the early dismissal schedule. Also, on this day there will NOT be Late Arrival Monday. Further, because of the school year extension, Friday, June 7 is now a full-day of school. The District has evaluated its total instructional hours and does not qualify to apply for the state waiver.
If there are additional school closure days this year due to inclement weather, the day(s) will be made-up after June 10.
Thank you for your support of school operating decisions.
