Selah Celebrates Recent Graduates
March 10, 2017
As a result of their hard work, perseverance, and continued focus on education, the Selah School District has some very special graduates to celebrate!
Congratulations to Wyatt Ritts and Steven Braley, who have both completed coursework to earn their high school diplomas through one of the many programs that Selah Academy oversees, Graduation Alliance. Housed out of the Selah Public Library, Graduation Alliance is a program where students work with two retired Selah School District employees, John Sweesy and Dick Krebs, to earn a high school diploma or GED.
Ritts, a member of the Class of 2015, is the District’s most recent graduate as he recently completed coursework to earn a Selah School District diploma.
Braley, was awarded a diploma from Graduation Alliance, based on Washington State standards for the Class of 2012. Graduation Alliance scholarships enrolled students beyond age 21 who want to continue working toward their diplomas.
Congratulations to Wyatt Ritts and Steven Braley for their hard work and continued focus on education as they have earned their high school diplomas.
