ECEAP Staff Shops 'Til The Drop for Families!

Family support staff at the Robert Lince Early Learning Center shopped ‘til they dropped as they enjoyed doing their part and spending funds from a special grant to help the District’s littlest learners in the Early Childhood Education Assistance Program (ECEAP).

Recently, the Early Learning Center received a $100,000+ grant through ECEAP to provide assistance to families during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The purpose of the grant is to assist families and to decrease instances of isolation.  In utilizing the grant funds ECEAP staff was able to visit the local Fred Meyer and purchase for families and students portable technology (iPads) to be used to access learning, food, books, school supplies and other needed household items.  Funds remain to purchase future items based on need.
