Not Even Close to Slowing Down, Selah's Transportation Team Aces State Patrol Inspection!

Not even close to slowing down, it’s already been a busy spring for the Selah School District’s Transportation Team as it continually works to keep Selah students safe!

In addition to helping move meals for Selah children during school closure, the District’s Transportation Department has worked to prepare for its Washington State Patrol Inspection for buses and motor pool vehicles.  And, the preparation results didn’t go unnoticed.

Concluding the inspection, the Selah School District fleet earned a 100% satisfactory rating again this year, with no buses out of service.  This is testament to the Department and its commitment to keeping Selah students safe.

“This was an outstanding effort by our Transportation Team,” said Director, Debbie Heide.  “There are over 100 things that can be found on each bus for an unsatisfactory rating.  Our Selah Transportation Team is awesome in its work and its commitment to students.  Inspectors said our buses looked the best they have reviewed and they cover all buses on the east side of the mountains.  This is another example of working hard to keep Selah students safe!”

Way to go Selah School District Transportation Team!  It’s been a busy spring with no indications of slowing down.

Selah's transportation fleet earned a 100% rating. Selah's motor vehicle pool earned a 100% rating. Congratulations to Selah's Transportation Department for its 100% inspection.
