It’s a big, green thumbs-up to Selah High School teacher and FFA advisor, Brad Watkins, as he and a team of budding volunteers were at the root of hard work to ensure the school’s FFA plant sale opened for business this year.
The group, which consisted of the Watkins family, Werner Staedle, students, and a dedicated team of staff and parent volunteers, devoted countless hours to ensure the annual FFA event sprouted again this year. Stemming from the team’s efforts, the plants, flowers, and colorful baskets were nurtured for sale. During the two-day sales event volunteers practiced proper social distancing protocols for special curb-side delivery to the lines of cars waiting to collect their first, special sign of spring.
Thank you Selah High School FFA and volunteers! It’s a big, green thumbs-up!
