Selah High School FCCLA Ready to Take the State by Storm!

SHS Contingent Qualifies 46 for State!Congratulations to the Selah High School FCCLA Chapter as its entire contingent is headed to State competition.

On to State!

Selah High School’s FCCLA Chapter is ready to take Washington by storm, as the entire contingent qualified to compete at the upcoming state contest in March.  The state qualifications were awarded to Selah’s 46-member delegation following the recent regional event.  As part of the contest, all Viking competitors earned gold medal rankings.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a student organization that helps develop young men and women as leaders and addresses important personal, family, work, and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences education. FCCLA is the only career and technical in-school student organization with a central focus on careers that support families.  

Michelle McCartney, Selah High School’s FCCLA advisor said, “Our kids have worked hard and we are extremely proud of how Selah students are representing the community. What they’ve accomplished is outstanding! As we’ve always said, “All the best kids go to Selah.”
