Parent Responsibilities

Begin the Dual Journey:
Attend March Dual Parent Meeting prior to the start of kindergarten
Register Child for Kindergarten
Fill out the Dual Interest form by May 30th

Once in the Program:

• Commit to long-term participation in the language immersion program
• Volunteer in the classroom and attend two-way parent advisory committee meetings
• Read with your child 20-30 minutes daily (in their native language)
• Encourage the use of Spanish outside of school
