Portrait of a Graduate in Selah School District

The Portrait of a Graduate in Selah School District is a shared vision that defines the knowledge, skills, and attributes every student needs to thrive in their future. This work was developed through an inclusive, collaborative process that brought together students, educators, families, industry partners, and community members. By engaging stakeholders across our community, we identified the essential skills for success in college, careers, and life, ensuring that our graduates are Future Ready.

Through this process, we aligned our Portrait with Selah’s values and priorities, emphasizing academic excellence, collaboration, communication, resiliency, empathy, and innovation. Embedded in this work are Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways, dual credit opportunities, and personalized learning experiences, giving students ownership of their future and equipping them with real-world skills.

The Portrait of a Graduate reflects a collective commitment to preparing confident, capable, and connected learners who are ready to excel in an evolving world.
