    Mission Statement
The mission of the Selah Food Service is to provide students with nutritionally balanced meals which help to establish healthy choices for a lifetime.

We have great news to share about our meal service for the  2022-23 school year! All students attending school on campus will be offered a daily breakfast and lunch meal at no cost.We are offering breakfast and lunch for students to eat on campus free of charge at school daily. Meals are required to be eaten at school and we will no longer be able to send meal packs home with our students.

The Nutrition Services Department would like to inform families whose children receive school meals, that its bread vendor will be changing all hamburger, hot dog and hoagie bread products to include sesame flour effective Monday Oct 31, 2022.  If you have a student who has an allergy to sesame seeds, please contact the Nutrition Department at 509-698-8196 or email lauraozanich@selahschools.org.

    Payment Policy
When students (or adults) bring cash for their meal, any remaining change will be automatically placed on their account. Cashiers will NOT be able to give change. Hopefully this will speed up the serving lines.

Also, checks for meals must be written for that purpose only. Cashiers cannot accept checks written for meals AND student photos, for example. Thank you for your understanding!
