    Mission Statement
The mission of the Selah Food Service is to provide students with nutritionally balanced meals which help to establish healthy choices for a lifetime.

We have great news to share about our meal service for the  2021-22 school year! All students attending school on campus will be offered a daily breakfast and lunch meal for free.We are offering breakfast and lunch for students to eat on campus free of charge at school daily. Meals are required to be eaten at school and we will no longer be able to send meal packs home with our students.

What's On The Menu?

        • Extras: If your student would like an extra entree, milk only to drink or snack they can purchase from our schools.  Extras require enough money in student accounts to cover the cost.  We accept cash and check at the school kitchens and John Campbell Primary Main Office for grades 1-2.

        • Additional Services: If you are interested in finding out if your family qualifies for additional waivers for extracurricular event participation such as athletics, ASB and other programs, simply fill out a Free and Reduced Application online at www.myschoolapps.com.  Paper applications are available at all school offices.  Free and Reduced applications are not required to receive a free breakfast and lunch this school year.
          • Complete the Consent to Share Eligibility Form for specific activities that require proof of free and reduced meal eligibility.  You can return the completed forms to your nearest school office or mail to: Selah School District Attn: Nutrition Services 316 W Naches Ave Selah, WA 98942.

    • Help your school receive additional funding: Completing the Free and Reduced Application may help your school receive additional funding for essential services in helping provide educational support

If you have any questions please call 698-8196 or email janellewehrman@selahschools.org.  We look forward to serving your students starting August 30th ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

      Payment Policy
When students (or adults) bring cash for their meal, any remaining change will be automatically placed on their account. Cashiers will NOT be able to give change. Hopefully this will speed up the serving lines.

Also, checks for meals must be written for that purpose only. Cashiers cannot accept checks written for meals AND student photos, for example. Thank you for your understanding!
