SIS Teacher Honored!

Congratulations to Selah Intermediate School third grade dual language teacher, Maximilano (Max) Diaz, for being one of the recipients of the Central Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce prestigious Estrella Awards.  The awards are a key highlight of the Chamber’s Hispanic Heritage Month Campaign and celebrate the contributions of Hispanic and Latino individuals in our community and workplaces across Central Washington.  The Estrella Awards recognize those who demonstrate exceptional dedication to Hispanic and Latino culture and community.  Max, who is in is fifth year as a teacher in the District, was honored for his contributions in the category of Education.
