Selah DECA Moves on to State!

It’s the beginning of competition season and once again Selah students are among the area’s best as they roll in to state competition!

Selah High School DECA students are packing their bags for State as they qualified for the upcoming event after participating in yesterday’s Area Competition. Participants at the Area Competition were vying to finish in the top five in their respective individual or team events in order to punch their ticket to the DECA State competition to be held at the end of February. Students were competing against 500 students representing 15 area high schools. Of Selah’s contest participants, 30 qualified for State. Below is the list of Selah students who placed in the top five in their respective events and will advance to state competition:

• 2nd — Audrey Crawford — Automotive

• 2nd — Elliott McLaughlin — Entrepreneurship Individual
