Once Upon a Star at the Unified Prom!

Students from across the Yakima Valley came together this past May, under a canopy of stars to show off their dance moves and celebrate at the Unified Prom, hosted by Selah High School. With music in the air and joy in every dance move, students made memories that sparkled brighter than the theme itself— Once Upon a Star. The event was filled with smiles, laughter, incredible dance steps, and magical moments that won’t be forgotten. 

Each spring, one Valley school district hosts the unified prom, which is a dance event designed to be inclusive and accessible for all students, particularly those with special needs. It proves a safe and enjoyable environment where students can socialize, dance, and celebrate together, like this year— Once Upon a Star.
