Music to the Ears!

It’s music to our ears as talented Selah High School Viking musicians competed at the recent WIAA Regional Solo and Ensemble event and will be advancing to state competition.

A huge ovation to Kira Hull, Rachel Hull, Natalie Farmer, and Kaler Robie, who all received Superior Ratings for their solo performances and will be advancing to the Solo and Ensemble State contest at Central Washington University. Additionally, it was a big round of applause for Megan Dougherty, Jenny Martinez, and Rachel Hull, who earned a Superior Rating for their performance as a trio and will also represent our region at the state competition.

Also, the Selah High School Percussion Ensemble definitely had the beat as their outstanding performance earned them second place honors in their musical category. This honor also designated them with 1st alternate honors heading in to the state contest.
