Associate Superintendent Honored with Legendary Education Award

Congratulations to Selah School District Associate Superintendent, Chris Scacco, who has been honored by the Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce with the Legendary Education Award.

The recognition, which was part of the Chamber’s Annual Women's Awards, honors women who inspire and lead in the Yakima Valley and exemplify professionalism, achievement, influence, leadership and volunteerism in the communities they serve. Scacco has over 35 years in public service, including 25 years in education and leadership, all in the Selah School District. Throughout her tenure, Scacco has been committed to student success and community involvement through various activities and service projects.
