SHS and SMS Students Qualify for National FCCLA Event!

After competing at last week’s Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) State Conference, Selah High School and Middle School students are putting on mouse ears, and headed to the “Happiest Place in the World” this summer in Orlando at the national event.

SHS Basketball Teams Crowned Academic State Champs!

It’s an impressive double slam dunk for Selah High School athletics as both the boys’ and girls’ varsity basketball teams have won the WIAA Academic State Championships for the 2A classification during the 24-25 season!

Focusing on Families!

Our Selah School District students and families are important to us! That is why our District’s Migrant Education Program and OIC of Yakima have partnered together again this year to focus on families to ensure they have food to serve, so students can eat and focus on learning.

There’s some zesty news for Selah School District kitchens as Director of Nutrition Services, Laurie Ozanich, has been selected as one of 27 school food professionals for Chef Ann Foundation Healthy School Food Pathway Fellowship!
