Child Nutrition Eligibility and Education Benefit Application
Our school is participating in a federal program called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). This program allows all children in our school to eat at no charge. However, some education programs we provide are funded with state dollars.
We will no longer be collecting Free and Reduced-Price Applications every year, instead, we must collect the Child Nutrition Eligibility and Education Benefit Application (CNEEB). This application helps us collect household information for all families attending CEP schools. Without this information, Selah School District could lose important state funding for educational programs and your child may not qualify for the fee waiver. Meal Applications may help students receive reduced-fees on sports and other school programs – High school sports start Monday, apply today! Another benefit, if you are eligible, is the summer EBT benefits of $40/month, or $120 summer benefits per child.
Complete the Child Nutrition Eligibility and Education Benefit Application (CNEEB) using the link below by printing the application and turn it in at the Selah School District Office: 316 W. Naches Selah, WA 98942. You only need to complete one form per family. If you have any questions, please contact Kristi Irion at 509-698-8037.
