    • School Mask Mandate Lifting on March 21

      Governor Jay Inslee has announced the end of the mask mandate in schools beginning on Monday, March 21. On this date, although masks will be encouraged, parents will have the option to choose whether or not their children wear masks in school buildings.

      There is some good news for Selah taxpayers! In the years to come, they will be saving money—millions! The Selah School District has successfully taken advantage of current low bond interest rates to save taxpayers almost $4.7 million over the next 15 years.

    • Congratulations to Selah High School Class of 2022!

      In a return to the familiar graduation surroundings of the Yakima SunDome, class-chosen speaker, Logan Thompson, stood atop the day's biggest stage and looked out at his 256 classmates sitting before him dressed in Viking blue and gold.  As he acknowledged the Class of 2022 as the first group of Selah graduates to have a "normal" graduation since 2019, Thompson spoke about the cohort's high school adventures.
