Hello Vikings! It is officially spring break, although it doesn’t feel like it. We hope you were able to take advantage of the meals on the move this week! Thanks to our tech department, we have been able to provide chromebooks to most of our students. Remember, at home learning will begin on April 13th. We will open SMS from 9AM-1PM on Wednesday, April 8th for students who haven’t had a chance to get their chromebook out of their locker. This is only for device pickup and not a time for students to clean out lockers. Thanks everyone for your patience and flexibility. We got this!
¡Hola Vikingos!

Hello Viking parents and guardians. Hope you are all doing well during these uncertain times. We miss our students at SMS and can’t wait to see them, hopefully soon. We understand that some student chromebooks are still at school in lockers. We will be opening the building on Wednesday, April 1 and Thursday April 2 from 8AM -12PM for students to enter the building to go to their locker and gather any materials they need. We have limited chromebook chargers at this time but Mr. Dusty will be on site if there are any questions. Six feet away of course! Thanks for your patience during the school closure. Take care.

It seems so insignificant to say that Benny Thomas is just a dog. We are currently accepting donations so we can purchase a tree and plaque to place in Benny’s favorite spot where he would lay. Any funds remaining after the tree and plant purchases will be used to offset the training of the school’s new therapy dog.

Even as schools have been closed, a group of Selah High School students still experienced the thrill of competition, virtually, and competed in the Washington Technology Student Association competition.
