I want to begin by wishing you all a very Happy New Year. Although the calendar has turned to 2022, COVID cases have begun to again rise dramatically from the Omicron variant. School Mask Mandate Lifting on March 21
Governor Jay Inslee has announced the end of the mask mandate in schools beginning on Monday, March 21. On this date, although masks will be encouraged, parents will have the option to choose whether or not their children wear masks in school buildings.

A Savings to Selah Taxpayers
There is some good news for Selah taxpayers! In the years to come, they will be saving money—millions! The Selah School District has successfully taken advantage of current low bond interest rates to save taxpayers almost $4.7 million over the next 15 years.
