Dear SIS Families,
School is out at 3:05 pm yet we have students who are still waiting to be picked up past 3:45 pm every day. Beginning Tuesday, February 20th, students still waiting after our last buses leave (at approximately 3:25 pm) will be brought into the office as safety and supervision are a concern. Parents will need to come into the office to pick up their children after this time. Our office closes at 4 pm.
Thank you for helping us keep our students safe!
School Attendance: 93.97%
Our school goal is 95%
Keep working towards that goal!
In October our school had a 95.23% attendance rate!! Here is the grade level break down:
Two months in a row with 95%+ attendance....Keep up the great work Vikings!
Unfortunately, we can no longer accept bus passes for the following routes as they are completely full: 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 13, 14. What this means is that students who do not normally ride these buses, will not be allowed to ride them for special situations.
We are sorry for this inconvenience. If you have further questions, contact Selah School District’s Transportation Department.
When picking up students from SIS during the school day, please assume it will take your child approximately 15 minutes to make it up to the office. We will only call students out of class if the person who is picking up the child is at our office and has signed the child out.
